THE MUTTS

THE CREATOR

CryptoMutts is the first large-scale NFT project from artist and curator Kenny Schachter. His artworks have been the subject of solo gallery shows and multiple sold out drops on the NFT platform Nifty Gateway. In addition to having his own artworks auctioned at Christie’s and Sotheby’s, he has also curated auctions of his personal collection at Sotheby’s.

Schachter has been curating contemporary art exhibits in museums and galleries as well as teaching Art history and Economics for more than thirty years. Since writing the first Artnet.com article about NFT’s in August 2020, Schachter has used his influence to spearhead the adoption of NFT’s in the traditional art world. He recently staged the first ‘phygital’ NFT group exhibit at Nagel Draxler Gallery in Cologne.

Kenny Schachter is presently part of the graduate department at the University of Zurich and holds professorships at New York University and the School of Visual Arts. He has lectured internationally and contributed to books on Paul Thek, Zaha Hadid, Vito Acconci, Sigmar Polke and Gerhard Richter. Schachter is currently the subject of a documentary produced and directed by Chris Smith, renowned for his viral Tiger King and Fyre Festival films.

THE $NFTISM TOKEN

$NFTism is the official NFT Arts Club token. Members receive 100 $NFTism for each CryptoMutt they mint. Tokens may be exchanged on Uniswap or traded for perks such as merch and members-only content and NFT’s. Owners can claim their $NFTism tokens once minting has concluded.

NFT Arts Club is an exclusive, non-hierarchical community. Members will be the first to receive Kenny Schachter’s art content. This includes early access to articles covering inside scoops and breaking news in the art market. Members also receive access to a catalogue of video lectures and priority minting for Schachter’s future NFT releases.
